No. There is no cost whatsoever for your organization to participate in the Inkbank Program.
All we need is some basic information on your organization. You can provide this information to us by:
- print out the Inkbank Enrollment Form by clicking on ENROLLMENT FORM in the side column, or
- you can simply email us the requested information below to INFO@INKBANK.COM as no form is necessary, or
- Fax us the completed form to 888-465-3294 (in Canada: 905-373-8356).
- Name of Your Organization
- Mailing Address where you would like the information to be mailed to
- The contact person's name who will be in charge of your Inkbank Fundraising Program
- The email address of your contact person
- The telephone number of your contact person
- Number of members/students, etc. in your group
- State the purpose of your fundraising project(s)

You really do not have to wait for anything. We will process your Enrollment Form and mail you a Welcome Letter that will contain your Inkbank Account Number.
Included will be our current Inkbank Newsletter and a Sample Campaign Kick Off Letter. If you don't want to wait, go to our Home Page, click on the button that best describes your organization (school, church, chamber of commerce, etc.). You can email or call us for a Sample Campaign Kick Off Letter that you can use as a guide for starting your campaign. Just type it out on your own stationary and you are ready to distribute your letters and get started. Sample letters are also in the procedure manual we send you.
No. Any collection box will do. Our mission is to protect the environment and recycle. Adding more boxes to the environment, just to advertise our name, is contrary to our mission. All of our cartridge shipments come in boxes that you can get from any grocery store. Produce sized boxes work the best. They hold a lot and they are not too big or too hard to handle. You will need to place a hand-decorated box in a place where your supporters can drop off their cartridges.
We have seen a lot of interesting things over the past 5 years, however, some of the common mistakes are:
- Sending in cartridges that are not eligible for recycling
- Sending in non-virgin, previously remanufactured cartridges
- Forgetting to take laser cartridges out of their original boxes
- Failing to wrap your laser cartridges in newspaper to prevent damage in shipping
- Sending In Epson Cartridges. Epson Cartridges are not eligible for Recycling
- Forgetting to take the Tomatoes out of the vegetable box before you pack your cartridges for shipping. (Really messy!)
Good things like this happen all of the time. If you have such a business supporter, we want to make it really easy for them so they will keep supporting you. INKBANK DIRECT is our program where we will send the UPS truck directly to the business with a prepaid label, so that you business supporter is not inconvenienced by having to bring the cartridges to you. All they need to do is put a note in the box indicating that the shipment is for your organization. A call, fax or email from them, letting us know the box is ready for shipment is all we need.
